23. So I took a day trip up north yesterday. On my way back home I stopped at a gas station about 30 minutes from where I live. I went inside and there was a cute friendly guy working at the counter. We started chit-chatting right away. I’m really into funny guys and he was teasing me and making me laugh. When I turned to leave after talking to him for a while, he calls out “Hey so do you have a phone number by any chance?”. I have had bad experiences with giving my phone number to strangers before…the guy always ends up being creepy or weird. So for some reason my instinct was to say “I’m sorry, I have to go”. And I turned and walked out. AS SOON as I got back on the highway I began to regret my decision. He was a nice friendly funny guy that didn’t live too far from me. I could have at least given him my name so he could find me on facebook! I don’t know what I was thinking. Some of my friends think I should go back there the same time next week and see if he’s working. Some think I should call the gas station and ask if he’s working. Problem is I don’t know his name! Should I just forget this and move on? Or should I gain some confidence and pursue this? If so, how do I go about it? For some reason I keep thinking about it. HELP please!
We’re so sorry for the SUPER late reply, School has been pretty hectic. But if you still want our advice, here it is:
First see if he’s there. If in that 30 minute drive he’s there, then take the change. If he’s not there, then it’s not fate at all. But the gas station isn’t the only place you might meet him. If it’s meant to be, then you’ll meet him again. But there are SO many guys in the world, we’re sure that you’ll find another guy who’s cuter & that he will make your world go round.
